I have been into hot rods most of my life - more so after my partnership as Associate Editor and Art Director in an east coast hot rod and customs magazine called "Golden Chariots" from 1987 to its demise in '92. I was completely hooked ever since. I finally bought my first rod in '95 - a complete original steel '31 Chevy 5 window coupe, still on its original chassis, built as a rod in the late '60's. I have driven this coupe for over 60,000 miles as a primered hot rod! I am getting set for my car's complete re-build of an early 60's custom show rod, motivated to get her street ready for my 30th Anniversary this year in 2025! My '31 will be featuring a custom painted, candy orange Prisma metal-flaked 392 HEMI and a 6-71 supercharger setup from Don Hampton!
