I founded and operate a custom powder coating shop in northwest Tennessee you might have heard of before. Specializing mainly in custom one-offs and Mopar parts restorations, I am a globally recognized industry pioneer of multi-color powder coating.

Thanks to my dad and an older brother who never liked to get dirty, I've been a motorhead my whole life and wouldn't have it any other way. A paralegal by trade, I started coating in 1999 on my own hot rod's parts and hung a shingle in 2007 after a post-Katrina relocation. The money isn't as good as when I worked for lawyers, but the personal satisfaction is infinitely better now!

I already know that a lot of my work doesn't fit "the H.A.M.B. Mold" simply due to the fact that the majority has been for muscle cars and post-war vehicles with some earlier stuff thrown in now and then. I also wouldn't be writing up a profile here if I felt that my standards and qualifications were inferior to those who help you out with your rides and man cave art now. A quick glance will show you that there is much to be loved about powder coating far beyond your frames and wheels.

I'm available for custom work on most anything metal measuring 7' or less -- it's mostly car parts but a lot of man cave displays, heirlooms and metal artwork regularly cross my bench too. Check out my album here on the HAMB for a quickie intro; there's well over a decade of custom work on my website if you want to see more.

The latest stuff appears on FaceBook (Phoenix Specialty Coatings) and Instagram @cudachick1968. I update my website as often as time permits (its latest version debuted Friday, September 14, 2018) but fall and winter are my traditional Really Busy Season. I just added a labor discount for H.A.M.B. members too (G.J. members have been enjoying it for years) just as a little payback for what I've learned here.

Message me with some good pics of your project and an overview of your desired color scheme to get a quote. My website's FAQ is the best place to start if you're interested! Reading through it will save you money and show you that I'm in this for the love of the cars and to keep these cool old parts around for future generations to enjoy. You will soon discover that my business philosophy, craftsmanship and attention to detail are far different than what you get with modern shops today.

Thanks for peeking at me. :D I appreciate your time and an opportunity to earn your business. Never hesitate to get in touch if you have questions or want to brainstorm on some ideas for your project. It's what I'm here for!
