Started working on Hot Rods in 1961 w/a 46 Ford, had Model A's (2 coupes) and a glass Camaro,street legal funny car in 1972. Started flying in 1982, built & flew WWI bi-planes (replicas). Quit flying in 2007 (25 yrs), I've built a total of 4 airplanes and 8 cars. I currently have a 31 Model A PU, this will be my next (ninth) project, expect to take about 1 year. I will replace the 264 nailhead engine with a 322, rebuild the 350 auto, 8.2 GM axle, add new wiring and clean up the poor work done by the previous owners. This was a well built Hot Rod back in the day, but now needs to be completely updated/restored, I'm looking forward to this project.
The above Model A project is now finished, August, 2014, 1400 hours. Lov'in this car.
