Cars Done Right
If I had to pick a '32 3W it would be this one, seen at the fall '11 GG Del Mar meet.

Cars Done Right
Love this late '50s Ford. Perfect stance and cool vintage Torq Thrusts--not repops. I'd paint it dark blue and call it finished.

I just like this angle of my car. Brad's Rat-powered beast is at left.

Couldn't resist re-staging the 1964 Revell box art image. I display that model inside my car at shows.

Met up with my buddy Brad on the way to a Tri-5 show. His has a 600hp Rat, 3500-stall auto and 4.88s. It is NASTY.

Restored original 15x8.5 Torq Thrust by Torq Thrust Terry of Burlington, WA. Now all four wheels are TTs restored by Terry. He painted the spokes dark gray and I fogged light silver argent over the gray. The spokes sparkle with that as-cast look.

I also added the car's original 1963 CA plates (car came from Long Beach), restored with actual '64 and '65 stickers from eBay, and Enoch Chevrolet dealer frames. Enoch was in South Gate just north of Long Beach. I clip the WA collector car plate over the old plate when I drive the car.

Swapped the Hursts and Appliance Torq Thrust copies for Radirs and real Americans, also in 15x8. The original Americans have a more pleasing and aggressive dish but the same back-spacing (3.5"). The new Radirs are 10-inch dual-groove cheaters.

I restored this '67 Taco 22 to use as a pit bike at Bonneville. I can no longer ride it after back surgery, so it's off to a new home. Fun while it lasted!
The Taco is now in the collection of former Speedway stat Gene Woods. It got a good home.
