It survived a trip around the block! Even the ahooga horn worked. I have since driven it several hundred miles. It thankfully drives good-n-straight with no wobbles or shimmies. Who'da thunk it for a 1st time car builder... These pics were taken in June 2008.

It took nearly 11 years to get it to this point. The first venture out onto the street. Jalopy Details: Ford 200 I-6 Falcon motor, C-4 tranny, 8 inch rear axle on '28 "A" buggy springs & radius rods, '42 Ford straight axle w/ wishbones I split myself, fiberglass '20 body & Beer Keg gas tank.

First time out of the garage! The distracted look on my face is me listening for strange noises, scrutinizing the guages, trying to get it in the right gear and saying a silent prayer that the wheels don't fall off....Have you been there?
