Sure is nice to see someone younger than myself on here. Cool as hell that you're 16 and you pulled a '57 210 out of a field to bring back. Save the money its gonna cost to 'restore' it, and just get it mechanically sound for now. Tune the engine up, fix all the leaks, change all the fluids, replace all the rotted rubber, and drive the wheels off it. You don't need nice paint to have a good time. Just make the interior somewhat decent for your lady and you're good to go. If someone has a problem with your 57 lookin rough and weathered, fuck em. I dare any 16 yo kid to say his car is cooler than yours.
i own a '54 Chevy 210 coupe and Kev is right.. just fix it all up and drive it! patina always looks cool! it shows the car's history-and yes, for you to be 16 to build something like this is waaaay cool! my brother has been working/building cars since he was 14yrs old. Learned to weld on his own at age 11 or 12....good luck buddy! by the way, i LOVE the seat in your car! that's awesome
