Very nice hardtop, Scott. What's the story?

I was up at a massive car show in St. Paul at the MN State Fair Grounds and they had an area with cars for sale. I sat and drooled over this one for awhile. I really dug the scallops- I've been 'shopping different scallop layouts on my car forever. The placement in the rear half was unlike anything I had done (it was off of the bodyline, and kinda strange, but it gave me some ideas). I liked the color scheme as well and the red chosen for the striping around the scallops. The striping on the hood was a little too much.

I had never seen the grille mod in person before. Initially I didn't like it, but now I dig it. I bought a bunch of little books a few weeks ago and saw an old ad for one of those. I've been thinking about trying to fab one up (even though I've never done metal work- I got a sheet of steel at Lowe's and I don't think I would have a prob- then get it chromed up), we'll see.

I think this car was for sale for 11k.
