What size steel and guage of steel did you use to narrow the frame? What type of welder do you have or recommend? Do you have other closer pics you might be able to post or email, I'd like to see where you cut and welded in the narrow frame.

I'm working with a 51 Chevy 1 1/2 ton Standard Cab and getting ready to mount it to a 73 Pontiac frame. Thanks!!
