The idea behind this is to make something similar or heavily inspired of the real ´50 Merc named "the Green Flame", the one in Robert Williams famous painting. I love that car as well as that painting. Mine beeing customized from a 1951 Merc. instead and with my own touch I will use a mix of parts from other cars of the 50ies era.
