000 0519 Our 2nd 61 Apache, the day after we got it in Fremont. We went to the Goodguys show in Pleasanton and it was only 6 bucks more to enter than to go as a spectator. Better parking, draw prizes, and the participant package, way better deal. Gave her a wash and polish and it looked right at home.

100 1699 Our 91 vette with the Ventura in the background. We got married in Vegas at the drivethru in a rented yellow '07 vette roadster, and I really liked it. This was for sale for 5 grand the next day on craigslist, so we bought it and drove it home.

strip debutante2 Our 71 Skylark "BS/GS". My wife got it for a case of beer from a tow driver that was taking it to the crusher. I repaired some rust, put together an interior and painted it, and put a new windshield in after I dropped a cooler on it. High 14s on radial TAs, Total investment, including case of beer, less than $600.

bloo3 This is our first 61 Apache, a solid and running farm truck from Oregon when I got it, with the usual rust, dents, wavy panels, faulty wiring etc. Took me 7 months to get it to this.

09mrpaug2 084 Our 61 Pontiac Ventura, tearing it up at the Oldtimers drags at Mission Raceway. It was running 17s with a new carb on it, by the next day I had it sorted out and down into the 16s, good enough to get us on the Horsepowerheaven.com website.
