Hired a hotrodder, Dale from Phoenix, AZ who responded to an ad I left in the "wanted" section here on the HAMB on January 3, 2023. Finally, after 4 years of waiting for someone to help with chassis setup - my hemi mock up engine, 700R4 empty transmission case and finalizing my Winters Champ Quick Change rear install with ladder bars.

Also supplied Dale with my center x-member (square tubing), precut boxing plates - front to rear, dual master cylinder, a new steel floor - toe board and under my feet. I gave him my chromed Vega cross steering box and polished steering column with my metal flaked steering wheel - wanted all of my parts before he started on chassis fab mockup.

I told Dale that my frame rail on the passenger side was hit slightly in the engine bay area, caused from an accident long before I bought this hot rod back in 1995. Cannot install my boxing plates until the frame is straightened, a headache that I knew Dale had to partake. He spent a few hours doing the best that he can with an original frame that was saved - wanting the bragging rights that few hot rodders can attest to...

All of the dumb holes were filled in on the frame and firewall, showing Dale's talents as a welder and fabricator! The chassis setup was the biggest and most important part of this build and feeling so relieved that the chassis is almost done, needing brake lines and a new wiring kit further down the road...
