the night before the primernats, we got it running. Joe came to the shop and had a pushbutton hot rod!

and joe had bought the most wrong color, well not when your expecting blue-black! it took me 2 nights of rubbing it with a scotchbrite pad to tone it down.

My engine had been gone through the previous year, so just bottlebrushed the cylinders and got some heads.
