My dad and I just dropped in the motor and started it up...I didnt have the fan working at that time...so I used a blower!lol. it worked..now I have an electric fan.

new parts on the front end freshly coated in John Deere Blitz Black. The springs were left alone as I havent made up my mind what im doing with them, i may cut them, replace them, or paint them and leave them alone.

This day I came home with my motor and I had left my dog in the garage since it was really cold, She had demolished a bag of dog food you see there, and tore through a few pairs of my wifes work shoes...crazy dog...Home with the new to me motor...remaned by Bill in russelville at the NAPA machine shop. something like 27 years experience building motors from racing to street. He came higlhy recommended by ALOT of shops.

The day we bought the truck...originally had a 390 out of a mercury, as well as all the steering components....that didnt work...it clunked around. and rubbed the cross member. The 390 had a crack in the block and was full of dirt dobbers.

father in-law torquing on something. You can see the blasted and coated headers there and the customized bracket again. new radiator for a 75 f100... wasnt an exact fit but very close. GM HEI distro. yeah I know. its GM yadda yadda.
