Rear wheels are Crestline Mark 2's with a deeper offset (Also 1960's period)....Had fun trying to find the studs with smaller shank dia, as the Crestline wheels back then used a smaller stud hole, so the normal ~11/16" shanks do NOT work...EEK...
Finally gave up and drilled them out....

Front wheels are ~1960's Ansen's , so still period correct..I had to do many hours of cleaning, scrubbing, and painting to get them to look this good...and I believe I will stop here...don't what them too shiny....

I also dropped the front end back down (had it up about ~2" before) to go better with this look.
May raise the back up about 1" for a bit more rake..
I am liking this look...

Finally decided to switch from original bias type tires and dog dish caps to radials with Torq Thrust type wheels..
Cannot believe the change in handling as well as ride..

Last finishing touches done now....carpet in...actually it is grey, but looks tan in the pictures....
Turned out OK, not totally pleased with my installation, but just fine for a driver.....

Still fooling around with the back end, but getting real close to liking it...deleted two tail lights, went to flat lenses, and used an old "Burma Shave" sigh for the third brake light.
Any of us old geezers that traveled cross country when we were young can relate to good ol' Burma Shave signs!!
