I found this Caddy on ebay and pulled it out of the mountains of kentucky. It was burnt up and had small trees growing out of it. I repalced the dash and windshield with a 60 chevy impala unit ant it

My Gawd, Who in their right mind would take on a project like this? It had been sitting out in the "Kentucky Rain" for about 2 years after it had burnt. The drivers side vent window is the only piece of glass that survived intact, not that it's pretty.

Although it can't be seen here, all that was left of the interior was a coupla hundred pounds of charcoal, glass and moss, with some small trees starting to grow out of it! I pulled them before travel.

The Caddy's new identity, "Baptized by Fire" Saved from the flames of automotive hell.....
Note the nice hole installed by someones local fire dept. It was pry'd open much worse but I straightened it out the best that I could.

This is a local guy's (kurt) car, a crazy custom 59 Cad...He keeps insisting I should chop my top also, no thanks. I like my windshield just the way that it is... He actually used the roof from a four door on his car, specificly, I don't know why. (longer?) I'll keep my roof, or replace it....then again I may remove it all together....
