28 Jalopy racer

A collection of build pics from this project. I ended up with this back half of a roadster body and then I threw some stuff that was lying around the garage at it; 6 mos of work later, it rolled out.

never really was into the sbc in the jalopy and finally found a good running stock 21 stud. wanted something different for headers so I married merged 1 & 4 and ran 2 & 3 separate, obviously likewise on the opposite bank.

Schrader wheel with a Model A column adapted to a 56 Ford sedan steering box my Dad took out of his 56 in about 1960, it laid on a shelf in the backyard. Shifter was had at the Pomona swap meet for $6. Trans is a NOS GM THM475 for a 1-ton truck that was taking up space on my garage floor for about a decade.

Schrader wheel with a Model A column adapted to a 56 Ford sedan steering box my Dad took out of his 56 in about 1960, it laid on a shelf in the backyard. Shifter was had at the Pomona swap meet for $6. Trans is a NOS GM THM475 for a 1-ton truck that was taking up space on my garage floor for about a decade.
