1948 Chevy 1/2 ton Panel RV Project

Started this one awhile back to pull an antique RV like a small Airstream, Shasta, or similar. Crap happened and never completed-----yet!

Keeping the red 50's theme but going modern. Originally gonna be a split bench 60-40 seat for three. Son is now grown and gone so back to thinking about buckets. Need a way to tilt or move them to get to the storage compartments under them.

Slow going. Plans are for AC/heat/defrost and modern radio. Hanging wires are for dome lites and CB.

My little helper is all grown up now and been on his own several years. ----------------------I miss my helper! It's not all the work he did. It's the hours we spent working together. If you have a son or daughter who likes old cars, spend as much time as possible with them. It's over too soon!

Building our old RV hauler, slowly.--Tiny teardrop style 1939 Chevy/Pontiac tail lites fit just about where the red and grey meet. There is narrow stainless trim for around all windows. Should really set off the red paint and wide white wall tires on chromed reversed rims.

Original wood floor is in very good shape top and bottom. A shame to cover it with carpet padding and carpet.
