@ROBERT JAM : They were an NOS pair I got with a'38 std coupe disassembled hot rod back about 1980 , still had nubs on em' . One day my son was ribbing me about not using them. He said you'll be gone and those nubs will still be there... So I mounted them up about 10 years ago and promptly fried the nubs right off of them. I haven' put a lot of miles on them but they seem to work pretty well.
Had them on a 1955 Chevy.and a 57 dodge. Both of them were street cars ,but used to stop light drag and some out in the country drags. I think the size I used were 820x15
