My personal favorite is between the Willys from Hot Rod, or the '55 from Two Lane.

the 2 lane blacktop 55 is my favorite.
it has the 'look' & a big block 4 speed, with 200-S wheels id love to drive that to work everyday.

Elenore, the first one. Because it'll still smoke the tires all day long.

Most of the others had to have multiple cars to do the movie. Elenore they just patched up, beefed up, and kept going with it.

I'd like to have a lot of the hiboys in the 50's hot rod movies tho.

    Thunder Road...... :D

Being from the Southland and having people in the moonshine business.....I liked this one. I watched them film parts of it ( in the 50's ) They shot the scene of the bootlegger turn just out of the overpass about 5 or 6 times.

A bunch of 57 Fords, a Shoebox Ford and a cool Mercury.....all are destroyed ...

Go here for a movie trailer......wait a minute for it to load...it is cool..IMHO

I'm really surprised nobody's put up a pic of ol #53 Herbie yet.

Two things can be said about the two lane 55.
1: It survived James Tailor trying to be Ronnie Sox
2: It also proved that all car problems are solved by changing the jets.

I gotta go check the jets.

I'd have to say the '68 mustang fastback from 'Bullit'. The greatest chase scene besides the origional 'Gone in 60 Sec.'

    Not bad. ;)

    I'm gonna go with Bullitt, too. I have to, considering I have a 68 4 speed with a 390. :D
