  7. My "Gasser" from 1968. It's a bone stock '57 Opel Kadette I owned while stationed in Germany. GI pay at that time didn't go far enough to buy nice wheels, let alone a hotrod motor/trans. Spacers in the front coils got it up in the air.

I hung the front tin on mine today and thought it looked complete enough to post. Still a long ways to go.

    Here's mine from 1972. A 1954 Chevy 2 door sedan. Ran a Pontiac 389. Engine setback 20%. 1957 Pontiac rear axle with a 4 speed.

You gotta love ladder bars from the front of the car all the way to the rear end.

Those were the day's and the Colson & Wood gassier is full of drag racing history.

Wonder how many runs down a 1/4 mile this car has made in it's life?

Thanks for posting the memories. Jimbo

Thanks RM. She's a time capsule for sure. The original builder passed away in 2012. He did all the mod's and paint work. He was a pretty creative guy.

Here's how the car looks today. The graphics are done in rainbow flake. All his handiwork also.
