Hot Rods 1 1/2 " e-brake cable travel enough?

Will 1 1/2 inch of E-brake cable travel be enough for a 9 inch Ford rear end?

 

It will but it will take a lot of leverage to pull it hard enough. Straight pull e-brake handle wont work. It will have to be pulled with a pedal assembly or lever handle.

 

I'm using the stock model A lever. I thought I should get an opinion before the final weld up. Hopefully it gives me enough leverage. Thanks!

 

I am also using a Model A lever with 10" Bendix brakes, and only need to use the 3rd "notch". You should be fine, just make sure the brakes are properly adjusted.
