Here's a more radical '35 concept. Call it a Sedanca Phaeton?

I reckoned it would be easier to start with a cleaner image.

  5. :D Naturally with dual V16s to provide "adequate" power.

There are a lot of candidates for that space: turbine? Or something more conventional, but with the gearbox entirely ahead of the firewall and with a storage compartment over it? Taking the transmission out of the footwell makes the surbaissé treatment a lot more viable.

From '35 on the proportions start becoming too weird for this sort of reproportioning exercise, really. The wheels become too small for the wheelbase.

If anyone is up to the task, I would love to see the 55 Plymouth with a sea foam green bottom, and a white pearl top. I have enclosed a couple of pictures with colors close to those desired. Thanks so much in advance.

  10. It started out as a 50 Merc bumper that I twisted up a bit in a way that I thought best fit the theme of the car.

  11. After checking different bumpers it looks like 50 chevy's are a close fit.....thanks for the info..you rock!

  12. I did it both ways

  15. Wanted to do a better version of the Fordor/Vicky/35/36 as the angle of the other pic wasn´t so great.

That reminds me of Bruce McCall's Vume, "the car so exclusive that none will be built."

Geez, y'all are making me feel bad that I've been slacking on Photoshop. There's been some great work on here the last few months.
I lost my Photoshop Elements 8 program when my computer crashed and haven't tried to do anything yet with the replacement program Elements 12. Looks like I need to get my ass back in gear!

  21. Put a bit of speed into it. Shouldn´t be impossible if you don´t mind slanting all the pillars and decrowning the roof.

  24. James D....That's a great design.. Very sleek looking. Thought I'd add a two tone paint scheme.

^^ regular color changes are hard enough, I'm impressed you could pull that off Moose! I personally am not a fan of that look, but I am a fan of your skills.

  28. Thanks Moose.
Dawie - I like that. It looks sort of French. I spend so much time smoothing things out, that I sometimes forget that it´s the small quirky details that can really be a stand out. You have to add enough "offness" back into it to make it interesting - make people look twice.
