The Bach's Body Shop '33 Willys in was Jim Clinton's and was sold to Chuck Stolze owner of S&S Parts Co. in Va. at the end of the '63 season, and it became the first KS Pittman / S&S Parts AA/GS in a series of KS / S&S gassers...At the end of the '64 season it was one of 8 cars picked to go to England for exhibition drag racing...
Ohio George was the other gasser....

the car was built in the 60's and ran once and put up supposebly, I see super lights and a late 80's early 90's ford the background. I guess he did front work on the glass front end

This is a picture of my dad's '33. He raced it in the late 60's out of Brookings, SD. We would love to find it but not really sure how.

  12. Merkel's '33 must have made some crazy music with a blower and those long tube headers.

Notice the West Cost Willys Club banner in the back.:) 1st issue came out in 1986. Just for a reference of when the picture was taken. Not sure where in California?

Hi, it is with a sad heart that a racer who loved Gassers more than anyone has passed away today. Brent Harris has been battling throat cancer and today lost his battle to race again. I would ask that you keep Brent's Family and Friends in your thoughts and prayers. Brent is pictured here on the right side of his good friend Gary Fuzzy Reinero. Brent's bright yellow 33 Willys was a crowd pleaser everywhere he raced.

This 36 Willys Pickup popped up on craigslist this week here in Washington state. Can not believe I missed it. Call a friend and he said a friend of his bought it. He was asking $7000! Worth at least twice that!
I just got an email from the guy that has it on craigslist and he says it is not sold!

If it's worth $14k then why the hell aren't you buying it and flipping it? If you know someone dumb enough to pay that much I'd like his number and I'll buy it and flip it. :)
