The O.P's daughter snapped a very nice photograph so don't belittle it with details that don't matter.

 

The sealed beam adapters came out in '40, so it could still pass for a 70 year old photo.

Good taste in car scenery, too bad the mountain folk have to bugger up the shots with their newfangled lights and chimneys.

 

No, it's my oldest. She's 32, married with 2 girls of her own.

 

Those rocks are sedimentary in nature and could be no more than 50-75 million years old.
