Coil and a half on the original springs, so Father Time and gravity helped a bit.

  17. 1938 Plymouth P6.......rears are Posies Super Slide 3" lowering springs-left the shortest leaf (about 12"), removed the next 2 leafs & added 1" blocks. Fronts are custom new leaf springs.....took about 3 times to fit the car, but were still too high, so I removed 2 leafs.

    EDIT:running 6.00-16 bias ply tires.

    I like this thread idea.

This has a 4" drop axle + 4" front sweep and 12" rear Z + 4" Channel + 6" chop. Still has 6" of ground clearance but roof ends at top of my belly (I'm 5'8")

This has 3" drop coils in the front and 4" drop coils in the rear with 2" blocks. The frame was c notched and the shocks relocated. I used Monroe shocks for a ranger.

3" drop via aerostar coils up front and 4" blocks (with totally bitched leafs, should really replace those) out back.

Up front, dropped uprights (2.5 inches ) and aerostar coils (another 2.5 inches)
In back, 4 inch blocks installed, and 2 short leafs removed from the spring pack.

Also, I raised the driveshaft tunnel, and installed a Gambino notch for the possibility of an air bag install.

Did you need to raise the tunnel and c notch at that height or just if you go for bags ?

Originally it was 4" in the front via cut coils. They were totally bagged out though and rode like garbage. I put in new aerostar van coils which brought it up 1" for the 3" (front) and 4"(rear) it's at now. I prefer a little "reverse rake" and am happy with how it sits.

    Hoppy, your coupe looks slick.

Front - 2 inch dropped spindles raised the entire mustang II flush with the bottom of the frame 6inch airbags

Rear - de-arched s-10 truck leaf springs and axle and 3 inch blocks, relocated the swing shackle into the frame instead of under it, shorter custom front leaf spring mounts 7 inch airbags mounted in front of the axle (stock trunk floor) instead of on top of it. Did not notch frame.

Air setup- 1/2 in. ported bags, 1/2 inch DOT line, 8 1/2 valves, 2 via-air compressors and a 7 gal. aluminum tank. running 140-160psi
