1966 Ford F-100 Camper Special. All-original with 47k miles. I took off the heavy duty two piece wheels and repainted the rear bumper. Other than that it's as it left the factory. Paint, upholstery, drive train are original. 352 with a 4 speed. Apparently they didn't make very many 1/2 ton Camper Specials. The vast majority were 3/4 ton. I've only ever seen a handful of F100 Camper Specials. I think they only made them for 3 years.

Here are a couple of my work truck. It was a flatbed for 50 years before I got it, so when I built it I kept the flatbed and narrowed and shortened it. Doesn't help that apache fleetside beds are hard to find either.
And I couldn't get new projects like this home with a "real" bed!

and then the runner I bought for use while I do the 59' a 58' with a modern bed

 

late model beds kill a truck for me. It seems like an after thought or you could not find a period one so you threw in the towel and called it good enough.

 

They look like Jennifer Anniston with a baboons ass.

 

Nope, bought it that way, driver while I do my 59, first have to find a bed for my 59, been searching, but both longbeds, would really like a fleetside, but I doubt that will ever happen, looks more like I will have to buy all new parts to make a bed, although I have a lead on a trailer made from a short bed 5 hrs away, I might buy and use as many parts as possible. Tough part of the country for this stuff.
