    Chalk Hill in Woodland Hills. @ Ventura and Winnetka looking west up Ventura Bl. Taft High (I graduated there in '73) is on the left.

    The more I keep looking at the treads on this post the more I realize how old I am getting!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I liked things the way they used to be better then the way they are today.

    That's not the Rose Bowl. They never put asphalt down for racing.

    Actually I believe it was paved for one season in 1947. Dirt in '46 and board track in '48 is my understanding ..... three years and approximately 39 events I think......

    Found this photo in a flea market photo album. Some of the photos were dated 1919. I guess the biker guys always got the chicks!
