If 34 degrees is T-shirt weather, you have WAY more hair on your arms than I do! LOL

  13. I burn most of it off... but that keeps me warm too :D

    A little foreshadowing...

...glad the shop is thawed out and operational again. Looks like your brain kept on working out of the shop.....can't wait for the big reveal and more pics...

  22. Looks can be deceiving. Just pull back a bit...

I didn't like the way the Edsel dashboard "wings" didn't line up with the doors, so I took all those bits of EMT and made some new ones...

Man, simple jobs can be way harder than they should be when you're a moron like me. Once I got them clamped in place I started to think they look too street-roddy.

But once I started to fill in the gaps, I think they look a little more natural...

As usual, I ran out of time. Still not 100% sold on these things. Any opinions?

I like the wings, these ones fit the doors better than the stock one did. Keep them

I think they looked like more the Jetsons stuff, than street roddish crap. Those pipes gives a nice touch for the garnish mouldings.Keep up the good work!

It's a great solution because it integrates the dash into the doors really well. Kind of like flamboyant factory styling of the mid-fifties. Nicely done...

  27. Thanks guys. My initial thought was to play off the dual taillights/windsplits, and the peaks in the hood and fenders. Got a bit of a theme going. I don't want to stray too far into cheesy, but once they are molded in and painted it should all blend together, I hope. I don't want this to be "that shoebox with all the peaks and fins and stuff", it's supposed to be a bit more subtle than that.

I think you managed to capture the essence of the Edsel look without going too extreme. Nice work.....

Does little ole Canada have electricity to power that heater you were talking about ? No guns, no electricity ! Gee, next thing those Canucks will want is running water. Now, get ready for the fallout ! ! !
