Wealthy Pasadenans had their luxury cars delivered back to them after service by a uniformed guy like this one, who rode himself back to the dealer's shop on the motorcycle in tow.

More vintage from the family archives. The first is an old abandoned car chassis Mom, her sister and friend found in a field. My Mom is the girl waving her arm in the air. The gal "driving" is my aunt (her older sister). Love this picture too as they thought they were out on "cruise" night.. ;)

My Mom (the little girl) and aunt (her older sister). I find that many of my vintage family pictures seemed to always include the family cars. During, and shortly after the depression, I assume owning a car was a huge blessing, and a thing of pride to be included in family pictures..

A couple more and I promise that's it for the day.. ;)

My Dad at about 19 years old (right), Grandfather (middle) and my Dad's cousin he was raised with (left).

Next is my Mother's "first" car. Not a "motor" car, but it is a vintage car.. ;) We are guessing Mom is about 14-16 here.

This next one is my aunt (my mother's sister) Probably taken around 1932-33 from the looks of the car. Maybe a little later seeing it doesn't look brand new?

Great vintage photo of a Yardman Corvette! The title of the photo is pedalvet, yes this car has pedals (one gas and one brake) but it is not a pedal car! It has a gas engine in the trunk.

My Grandmother. This is the woman that was killed in 1956 in the auto accident picture I posted the other day. Grandma was an awesome lady and she is still missed after almost 60 years now. The car in the picture is not the same one she was driving when she was killed though.
