Hey guys I purchased a complete rebuilt F1 brakes on eBay minus the drums. Of course I can't find the messages the guy sent me with part numbers for new brake drums that will work. I think he said something about Ford Bronco rear drums??? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
according to RICH B on here, try 1980 ford bronco rear drums. i haven't tried them myself , but he is usually correct
Maybe I found a short thread that suggested 86' F150 rear drums. ???? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
If it was FRONT drums you needed, we have the stock replacement front drums for the 48-52 F series pickup trucks in stock.
I've been using 8951 drums from AutoZone under $50. These drums have many applications; but a common one is '80 Bronco rear.
Didn't have time to see this thread again til this evening. Can't say if the other drums suggested work or not. Our F1 front drums sell for $89.00 each. Sure seems a big difference from the others, but we know they fit. Anyway, if the other options don't work out for ya, let us know......Mac VP
$89 sure is about the cheapest I have seen. Are they copies of the stock drums? I didn't see photo's on your website. I paid just under $40 each for the NAPA drums.
They are reproductions of the originals. I know we don't have a pic up yet....I'll pull a drum and take pics for the website. May take a couple days to edit and upload.
OK...finally took pics (both sides) of the front F1 drums. See attachment (or the link will take you there): http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/FH_images/Chassis parts pics/8C-1125-brakedrum.jpg
