Hello from Houston! I accepted the wonderful challenge of a De Soto Hemi a couple of months ago and have since read TONS of helpful info from ya'll !! I have a line on a '35 ford coupe I hope to get soon (yes, it's in a barn). I run a welding fab shop of my own and manage a shop for an Architecture school. Very mechanical/total Gearhead. I know I will be relying on the H.A.M.B. a Lot for this build and sharing the progress forthwith! Ciao for now -Kyle
Welcome to the forum. Better get that 35 from the barn before someone else does. Everyone is looking in barns.
Welcome! 35 ford coupe with a Desoto hemi is what I'm building also. I have been collecting all the parts for awhile. My 35 is going to take some work though. I call her my 10 year project What are you plans with the hemi?
Welcome from Deer Park. Do a search on here and look for the local Hamb meet. We usually do breakfast once a month.
Hey, the Desoto (276) is in the machine shop now and boy what a project.. I just mailed my cam to Isky today for a regrind since the ones that Contreras/Donny J. produces are $800 bucks!! J&E .030 over pistons have come in and with that the short block will be together, for only about $3500. They tried to warn me, but did I listen...No!
