    Not much I am just completing my 56 Chevy pickup. Plus trying to keep cool in this weather.

    BTW,second one from the top looks reversed, with the spectators on the opposite side of the strip.:confused:
     
  9. Those pictures were taken by photo-journalist, Ed Sarkisian. He had access to the whole track..............He is the guy in the white suit in the last picture.

    I knew Ed, he actually started the Yankee hot rod counsel in 64, I was a member. I still have the points co-champion trophy for 1965, that he presented to me and my race partner.
     
  11. I just recently had the pleasure of meeting the gentleman in that Galaxie he was one of the early Tasca team drivers before Lawton....Swede Gordon Carlson...

    WORKED AND RACED AT CHARLESTOWN (INSPECTION OF HOT CARS) WITH THE PACERS CLUB, LATER DROVE A B/ROADSTER FOR THE CRUISERS.
