  2. Thats nice also. My personal tastes lean toward any darker, luxurious shade to emphasize the "classiness" the old customizers wished to convey with their cars. I do think the lines on customs such as yours can carry almost any colour successfully.. I just prefer the darks better myself. :)

I would be on the hunt for a 47 Oldsmobile Grille...Personal Opinion, they look
really good in a car like this...

The running gear is the suspension...I however saw on another thread you had posted the complete lowering process for the rear leaf springs as well as the front springs.
I have a 46 business coupe that I'm going to start building. It is at the beginning stage.
Thanks for all your informing posts an pics.

Yes I've spent a lot of time on that thread. Not many bis coupes to gage by. They must be harder to chop. I'd think the concept would be the same as a long door?

The 'Running Gear' includes the engine, gear box and differential.

I have to say, that is a beautiful chop you have done. Its so hard to get that body shape to look so damn good with a chop!

  21. Great work! Thanks for the pics I wish I saw them before I chopped mine, but we have both done the same cuts, I took 4" at the B pillar. I have some pics in my profile gallery if you want to have a look but you don't seem to need help now. It looks great. What tail lights will you run?

  22. Could you please post some pics when you chop your inner window frames. I have done 1 of my rear frames if you want to see a pic but I think it could be easier?
