Just scored these (4) unusual and rare hubcaps made for the Lincoln Welding Company for use on their SA-200 Pipeliner welders. Now the restoration process begins...

Very cool. My boys (both pipeliners) would go nuts for something like that.

Burnt a lot of rod on a Lincoln trailer welder and I've never seen these before.

  11. Wow they are cool and don't over restore them to the point they look like repro's, they would look good in my cap collection !! JW

I have never seen a "SA-200 Pipeliner welder". Please post a pic with the hubcaps.

Here an idea if you have one of those welders. Remove the inside components, leaving the metal shell, fabricate a BBQ grill, pull same to a cruise in and cook HB and HD for the crowd. You could even leave the exhaust up for the smoke to exit. Of course the above would be more cool if you have a bobbed 38 COE to pull it with.
    Thanks for the pic.

That'd be cool, but akin to gutting a decent 5 window and turning it into a chicken coupe . Those old welders are still held in high regard and command some premium prices in the welding community :D.

Search SA 200 on that auction site to get an idea. Pretty crazy.
