Just bought this after being 'ride-less' since 2007 Working on getting it from Cincinnati, Ohio to eastern shore Maryland. https://www.flickr.com/photos/swmyers73/sets/72157642291900374/ Description: 'The engine has been replaced with a late 50's 283 and four speed transmission. new parts include radiator, alternator, carburetor, white wall tires, nos seat covers, brakes/lines, exhaust, door and trunk gaskets, complete ron francis wiring, fuel tank and more. this car does have the original a-arm front and leaf spring rear suspension. The original black paint has great patina there has been some repair on the bottom and is blended in well. This car runs drives stops turns fine and all the lights and turn signals work as well'
Great looking car. Nice start. I've always loved '41s. Looking through your flickr album, looks like you've got some good inspiration.
Love the Steering Wheel!! As mentioned, those are good inspiration photos. I would like to see more of the green one. Keep us posted!
I really like it! I was originally looking for a 40's Ford or Plymouth, but I thought it was really cool when I saw it.
Rally nice looking car! I love '41 Chevys.....'41 was a great year for GM styling all around, in my opinion. Congratulations and enjoy.........
That looks a lot like a Chevy coupe that I saw at the Cincinnati World of Wheels in the Autorama section with a for sale sign on it. Does it have a modern dual reservoir master cylinder sticking up through the drivers side floor board?
The stock one is mine. The custom pics are just inspiration. I deleted them so no one will get confused
Although I have owned a couple of '41 Chevys in years past, including a convertible I wish I had NEVER sold, I am also a Buick fan and have owned several '41 Sedanets. But the '41 Buick I have kept is a very low production Sport Coupe which shares the GM "A" body used by '41 Chevys. The best of both worlds pic attached.......
