I am looking for those little set screw type bolts that hold in king pins for rear leafs .I am not sure what they are called or if they are sold separate.I need them for my rear 56 chevy truck and dont want to have to buy new king pins when mine are fine .They just got damaged when I was hitting them out .
Anybody know where I can just get the screw ?

  2. Huh?!?!?
King pins have nothing to do with rear suspension. You need to determine what the part you need is really called, cuz it ain't a king pin

Its a little tapered bolt that holds the front of the rear leafs on the truck frame .I see the item it holds on is called rear spring eye pin but I dont know what that tapered little bolt that holds it on is called .My pins are perfect just need that little locking deal .
I just need the one tiny bolt seems dumb to pay $60 bucks for two of the whole units just to get that one little locking one .

That's weird, never seen those before. They look a lot like 49-54 Chevy front king pin sets. Learned something today.

I was mainly showing you the part number, and letting everyone else see what they look like. Search..you might find some for a reasonable price, or you might not.

Its reasonable if they're made in the US and not some Chinese monkey metal junk. For myself, if the seller couldn't verify that they're made somewhere where you can trust the quality and metallurgy, then I'd pay the $40 for the NOS pair before paying $20 for a pair of unknown origin since, judging from the assembly pic, that's a sorta critical application.
