I worked at that dealership (Belknap Ford) when I got out of H.S. in '63. The section that the store is in used to be where we prepped the cars prior to sale. Also worked at the Chevron station across the street. Been in there quite a few times, neat place

Been there, absolutely LOVE it! Bill is a great guy, I needed to connect one side of the rear spring on a 1931 Model A I bought. He let me barrow his spring speader ( with a down payment ). I'm into old cars and old time values...... Just wish more people were that way.

  6. I've never been to their shop, but they are my go to for early ford parts over Macs or Drake.

The story behind it was pretty cool too. I believe they said it was on or in a sedan that was completely buried somewhere around there.

So does that coup belong to someone there or is it a shop vehicle.

They all belong to Bill and Mike.

  18. So my buddy is looking for a genuine NOS left rear fender for his ' 40 sedan delivery and he says - " lets go over to San Demas and see if they might have one"

Me thinking its very unlikely, the man when asked if he might have one says
" yes we do, what colour factory primer color do you want it in, red or black? We have both!" - un #<$&@ believable!

Check out the old neon restaurant sign a few doors down and also check out the great old school hardware shop diagonally across the street!

    A memorable day for sure.
