The roll cage has to come out. See post # 282 for the style of roll cage that was originally in it...I think we may have one , but will have to measure to make sure it fits.

    Carey & Rob,

Thanks for sharing all of the pictures from your "museum's" workshop. That's an awful lot of quality work done on a well-deserving piece of history. Many are envious (I'm one) seeing your skills and the progress you're making. thanks again.

The photos you see with the door open are from last summer......most of the 8 to 10 inches of snow we have had this last month is just about melted off...
can hardly wait to get the door open again.

Everyone drops a lot of lead on the floor when starting out, even me when I first started , but the good thing is you can sweep it up, melt it and recast it back into sticks and reuse it.

Lytles Garage-I totally understand severely chopped (mail slot )cars for the salt flats and drag racing (Wind drag) ( to me) driving anything over 4'' chop on the streets seems unsafe, than the ones with the mail slot, want to put a blower on it, in whats left of the view they have left ,here in Alliance at one time we had a city ordnance that wouldn't allow any thing above the hood (ram air intakes, hood scoops, 'blowers) some azzhole cops would bust you for the tack on the cowl, called it obstruction of view , i wonder how many cars will get this same treatment in years to come if laws like that ever come back == I feel better now==,I PROMISE I WONT RANT ON YOUR SIGHT AGAIN== keep up the nice work=jack

No, not real. Robs buddy John and Robs brother Mark made it up as a joke. They took Rob to another friends " Garage Sale" and let Rob "discover" it behind some junk. Only trouble was , it was one of Robs spare doors and he knew that it was missing several days before the prank....but he did get a nice wall hanger out of the deal.

Hey guys looking super great!!!..if I may put my two cents in as far as your using brazing as your median for welding. Have you ever considered using Silicon bronze wire with either Mig or Tig ? What is nice with that wire is it allows you to use less heat and it has lower tensel strength so it is easier to hammer out your welds, further cutting down on time it takes to finish and probably also would not have to use as much lead and the time it takes to get to primer.

We had to stop work on the Gasser Passer for a few weeks so we could install a new lift.
A lot of work but it's going to make getting under cars a lot easier on my old bones.
A couple more days to finish the lift, then back on the Gasser Passer.
