If you look closely, you can almost see it in the reflection in the rear window...

But then has there ever been a Tucker made into a traditional hot rod??? :p

  4. Tucker made a 2 door convertible? I thought all Tucker convertibles were 4 doors. The snow must be blinding me.

It would. Needs floors n rockers. A hood would be real nice. Still got the flattie n 3spd. Been parked since the early 60s. Unfortunately, a lack of funds will be it's demise. Unless I can find a buch o fun tickets somewhere....

Found it on a post on the Wreckchasing aviation forum; someone discovered the cars while looking for aircraft crash sites.

  24. If It has the 289, you could pull the engine, scrap the rest, and be well ahead.

I had one of those Champ pick ups. I think they were in bad shape from the factory.

I'm going back this weekend with a sawsall and cut some parts off. The frame is broke in 2 pcs. and is impossible to get to without the right equipment . Maybe when they start clearing the land I'll go back for the whole truck. yea the grille will be hanging on my wall soon;)

I bought one of those trucks in 1976. It was at a Chevy dealer in Albuquerque and the guy was astonished I thought it was cool. My buddy bought a 71 Camaro and I bought that almost as a throw in and get it off my lot. It had the 289 and a McCullough blower. Great truck for $500 in 1976.

  29. Recently found this 57, in very sad shape, on Craig's List :( Too Bad!
