  1. Hello John Z.This got to be your truck,I like it! I need to stop-by after Winter is done and look at the real thing! Very Cool,I would chop the top, maybe change to a different top completely more of a coupe look! Any way I like the mopar front and the sectioning of the body! Your Friend Uncle Bill

  2. THis is about as close a match as I could get - all the pics I found looked different.

James, thanks thats what I was looking for. I am going to lower it and possibly run fenderskirts and cadillac caps[like in my original post]. Thanks you so much. It helps decide on the color

  5. OK, now it's time for me ask for work from you all. It's been uber crazy recently as I'm moving to Phoenix/Scottsdale this week and buying this way-cool '31 AV8 Coupe (which is still in Wisconsin and I gotta figure out how to get it to Azirona ASAP!). It was built in 1962 and currently has these 16" Lincoln steelies and trim rings. I'm not too fond of the look and wanted to see what other options I should consider. Here's the as-is version:

At first I thought '46 Ford 'caps would work:
    [IMG][IMG]

But that didn't say "1962" to me so I "threw on" some Moon disks:

Not bad, but still not quite "there". What do you all think? Chrome reversed steelies with a small whitewall? American five-spokes on blackwalls?

Just looking at the truck it seems to me it would look better if it were sectioned vertically to make the cab longer. Extended cab short bed? Likely an expensive mod though.

Thanks. Not that I don't have imagination, or the ability to see what I want, but that extra pair of eyes and point of view is the reason this board is so great, and makes my work a little better. I appreciate the input, and the compliment.

  10. It got lowered somehow and the 22" semi truck rims loose their scale.

The first image, with the original wheels, looks better than the Alcoas. But, I didn't keep the original Daytons on my Diamond T, so what do i know…

  12. SOB there was a Sasquatch behind the trailer. That's why !!!

Would someone please give this a touch of Washington Blue? (Frame, body, and grill shell). I'd like a black interior and black suspension, too. Thank you very much in advance. I'm on the fence between Washington Blue, Kewanee Green, and Windsor Maroon...

    Again, thank you in advance.

  16. Actually it's not lowered at all but has it's original stance and as far as the wheels are concerned...They are the exact same diameter as the stock ones and are what the OP asked to see.

  17. Maybe it's the shadow line underneath it that makes it look that way- lowered?
Or the Sasquatch behind the trailer?

I know he asked for them, I was just expressing an opinion that the original 20's looked better to my eye. It's cool either way, and the sasquatch behind the tree likes the Alcoas, so everybody has an opinion. :D

    Very cool Photoshop, Ruben.
But flatbeds always look like something is missing in back.
How about adding a hot tub made from an inverted bathtub Nash? :D
