Vintage shots from days gone by!

  1. This photo got my attention. I thought these wagons used structural wood - this appears to be a steel wagon. Was the wood look created by decals? Also, the body crease on the door doesn't appear to match up with the quarter panel.

  2. Can anyone identify this photo? My wife's uncle asked if I could date this photo and the year and make of the car. He is 99 and a friend of his is in the photo. Any help is appreciated. Click to enlarge!

On the sign in the back ground, "Over There" was a song from 1917.

  7. The theater marquee in the background say's May 19 & 20, since the Charles Richman movie "Over There" was released Oct. 20, 1917 & the Fatty Arbuckle movie "Out West" was released Jan 20, 1918 I would say that the picture would be either the 19th or 20th of May 1918.

  18. The details in the picture are hard to make out but I would say it's a Willys Overland.
