    Lol, fooled me! Those valve covers did it I guess. Don't see many 351M-400s in hotrods for sure.

    Shortened F-2 pickups are way cool since the fenders come already radiused out.

    My last post was Jan 29 of last year before the truck hit the road. Here are pics of it literally on the road. It was mocked up for the next stage of work this winter. I drove it all summer, now it's back down to frame, except this time I know where everything has to go!

    5" chop. 2 x 4 mandrel bent frame rails. 4 wheel coil/over.. front wheels moved forward 6". rear wheels moved forward 3"..aluminum front valance. 1" reduced in heigth.. frenched headlights. cold air induction.. lots more pictures on film. don't have a printer. waiting for Jomomma to give me one.

    Pretty cool to see a '56 with a '55 grill. Usually its the other way around.

    The PO collected parts for the project, but didnt know the nuances between the years. I took it and ran with it. Makes a nice spot for the vintage T-bird insignia, since the V8 emblem no longer applied with the 3.8L SC V6 engine. I am working on enhancing it a little bit, or making one more the size of the original V8 emblem.
