Here is my latest parts for the model a.. Some nice aluminum 21 stud heads. Nothing fancy but it will set it off for sure!

I went back through today and re read this entire thread .. What a ride.. It's been a blast driving the wheels off this car. I'm stoked for next year.. Many new places to go.. Including The race of gentlemen .

I'll be at the Cleveland ix center in March for the piston power show also! Excited about that!

  4. nice score on the heads, def set it off. Yeah I'm looking soo forward to the warm weather and cruising. I'll prolly miss more shows again this year because I'm trying to finish another truck, but hey even that little 10mile round trip to town and back is so relieving. Gotta love looking back on threads, show how far you've come. Its always quite a ride and documenting it I think is awesome. I'll be in touch, calendars are on their way.

Cool - do the heads match the pistons - that is domed or flat?

That might turn out to be a good combination. Blowers respond well to lower compression. You can easily run more boost and more timing. Twist it up a couple more pounds of boost and let the blower make the compression you want.

Ya know what's funny, the first thing I think of when you post a picture inside your garage is...hmmm, look at all that open space... Haha.

Now I have a new part to attempt to fabricate.. I run across this picture today, an original belt tensioner for these blowers. All I need to do is find the flat roller with bearings in it . The rest is cake . This Is the first tensioner I have at actually seen! Finally

Pulley looks similar to the fan belt idler on the C15 in our Peterbilts at work. I can grab ya a used one to try.

As you know you have a 1936 model supercharger. Attached is a page from the Installation Instructions for that blower. It shows you the setup of the tension pulley.
Attached also is a picture of my '36 blower on a later engine. The idler pulley is fixed on mine.
Enjoy your the super performance of your blown flathead.

Here are the ones we use. Quarter is for scale. There is also an A/C belt tensioner pulley that is a little smaller.
