Yep. I lived on Doolittle about a mile from there. The plant is on Williams St between Doolittle and 880.

I question whether it is Levittown also I lived in the area and worked there also. Levittown was built with 2 types of homes on slabs, the ranch which was predominent and a expandable cape. Those homes are all capes. Levittown maybe but I doubt it.

I think I got it : It's a Gotfredson. Puzzled a good 20 mins over the features/grille ID. Not a lot of good pics online, brand was around 1920-1951, notable styling feature in this era was the bare cast-aluminum radiator.

    From post #88987 :

According to the IMCDB, this is a 1928 :

  18. Convertible Weather

Fairly timely considering the weather we're having. They HAD to be hardy souls in those days!

I will never complain about getting into a cold car again.

The schooners Hesper and Luther Little rotting away in Wiscasset Maine. They had been left to rot since the thirties. I remember seeing them in the late seventies, about when this pic was taken.

Two of those images are from Wascana Lake in my hometown. ( The city's first college in the background.)

Here's the old city hall, circa 1905.

The VW must have been his daily driver.
