Swapped out the main jets today. Had #62's we put 58's in and went for a run to try out. Noticed a difference straight away. No more black soot all over the body after idling and driving.

Only 2 days to go before I head off on my big road trip. Better start packing soon!

Grabbed a new filter and some oil while in town. Changed oil and filter at 900kms and am very happy with the way it is all running. Can't wait to get on the road on Monday.

I love february, the kids are back at school, the weather is spectacular and i am on leave!!!

 

Monday and tuesday looks like roadster weather, you might need ur rain coat wednesday but after that its all sunshine, safe trip.

 

Car is packed, a whole day ahead of schedule! I was able to squeeze in 200 piece tool box, tent, inflatable mattress, folding stretcher, cleaning gear, assorted tools, clothes for 2 weeks, sleeping bag, club jacket, fire extinguisher, laptop, camera gear, fuel can, rain gear, food and cooking equipment!
Not sure what I am going to do tomorrow now........probably some domestic chores!

Stinkin hot day on the road today. Fan fuse blew again!!!! One exhaust baffle fell out on the motorway I ran over it and couldn't stop. Now I will have to run with both removed. Battery in camera went flat early.

Saw Wade today about 10.20am heading south just out of Dannevirke. He had a smile a mile wide even though it was pretty windy. Car looks good on the road.
