WHAT...Just hubcaps today? Dang, you're slipping (grin) I expected a full stainless exhaust, the cab mounted and a complete custom interior completed...HA! Actually, the caps look pretty trick. Are they hard to get on and off?
because of the comments made being to fast i thought i'd slow down a bit the plumbing is a bit of time consuming so not so much visable progress on the hub cabs they are pretty easy to remove i can reach the studs at the back tru the large holes in the wheels
Great progress on the truck and your dash turned out great. I'm really liking your plumbing management. Are you making your own clips or can you buy them over the counter? I'm getting ready to start some plumbing also and have been looking for a clean clip set-up. Keep up the great work.
Hi the clips/clamps are an over the counter product, search for hydraulic pipe clamps. The ones i used are from stauff but there are many more brands that have them. Parker has them too. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
First of all, are you on speed? I've been a part of a few builds like this , and this has to be one of the fastest and nicest builds I've ever seen. I can't wait to see the final product! Keep up the good work.
no no drugs for me ok well to keep up at speed here the progress of today the paint of the cab is done, and we put it on the chassis temporaly still need to paint the underbody. already installed sound deadning material inside the cab. I also made new fuel lines and now i am working on the exhaust stacks making a collector box to a single pipe inlet
damn ! you figured it out now everybody knows i have finished one of the (1:18 scale ) exhaust stacks made some meassurements where to roll the sheets then cut out the pattern and tig welded it all up will also make a brace to attach to the frame and use flex pipe to connect it to the exhaust system
No kidding! With all those angles the sound waves oughta cancel the hell out of each other, and zps for restriction! This build just gets better and better.
great looking manifold. this truck is becoming too nice to use for work. maybe just haul your own vehicles around on.
man oh man I do love this COE and you are doing some killer work. could you please tell me what hub cap that is?
