WHAT...Just hubcaps today? Dang, you're slipping (grin) I expected a full stainless exhaust, the cab mounted and a complete custom interior completed...HA!

Actually, the caps look pretty trick. Are they hard to get on and off?

  2. im digging the hub caps ...

  3. because of the comments made being to fast i thought i'd slow down a bit :)
the plumbing is a bit of time consuming so not so much visable progress ;)

on the hub cabs they are pretty easy to remove i can reach the studs at the back tru the large holes in the wheels

Great progress on the truck and your dash turned out great. I'm really liking your plumbing management. Are you making your own clips or can you buy them over the counter? I'm getting ready to start some plumbing also and have been looking for a clean clip set-up.

    Keep up the great work.

  5. Hi the clips/clamps are an over the counter product, search for hydraulic pipe clamps.
The ones i used are from stauff but there are many more brands that have them. Parker has them too.

First of all, are you on speed?;) I've been a part of a few builds like this , and this has to be one of the fastest:eek: and nicest builds I've ever seen:D. I can't wait to see the final product! Keep up the good work.

  7. no no drugs for me :D

Looks good. BUT, I now have a new "speed" theory...this is really just a scale model. :)

  10. damn ! you figured it out now everybody knows :(

i have finished one of the (1:18 scale ) exhaust stacks

made some meassurements where to roll the sheets
    [IMG]

then cut out the pattern and tig welded it all up

will also make a brace to attach to the frame and use flex pipe to connect it to the exhaust system

genius. Might not need mufflers with this design. It might baffle itself.

No kidding! With all those angles the sound waves oughta cancel the hell out of each other, and zps for restriction! This build just gets better and better.

  13. great looking manifold. this truck is becoming too nice to use for work. maybe just haul your own vehicles around on.

You really impress me corvette. I know it can't be cheap to get all that Detroit iron to Amsterdam. Love your build. Keep up the progress.

Did you have a wiring diagram to know which wires to remove?
