Enjoying the show as usual.
Here is something a bit different from me.
Usually I do oil paintings on canvas but I have a new friend, Clyde, who's wife is having health issues and has told her husband that she wants him to finish his 1942 Ford truck.
They are an older couple and have been working on this truck for a number of years. Started with a pile of body parts. The two of them together have done some amazing work on this truck. Including grafting on a 40 Ford car front sheetmetal, hand made running boards (she ran the bead roller) as well as shortening the bed, 327 Chevy, wide whites and Caddy hubcaps all mounted on a Dodge Dakota frame. She is unable to help with it now.
My buddies Tim and Mike have been busting their butts working on it with Clyde. I jump in where I can.
Any how he wanted "My Girl Shirl" on the truck. I would never claim to be a striper/ letterer but I sucked it up and did the best I could.
Please keep Shirl in your prayers for COMPLETE healing!

Jigger-the third pic you posted-the girls in the brown roadster reminds me of a picture in the newest "cool pics on the HYAMB" thread. Were you inspired by it? That custom Chevy truck really floats my boat.
