This has probably been covered in the past, but i am computer illiterate and i can't find it in the search.
Old truck in barn, in Pennsylvania, no title! Way too nice to be parted out, where do you go from here?

    thanks for the help

not sure how the dmv works in PA, but you might want to start with a vin search to find out who owns or owned it. you may also want to contact a lawyer.

now wait just a damn minute...you can't just walk in here and say you found an old truck in a barn that's way too nice to part out, and then just leave us hanging without pics and the back story...

  4. Buy it, sell it to someone in a state that does not require titles for old vehicles, use money to buy something with a title.

  5. I agree with 3wlarry lets see it.

    Talk to your DMV.

  7. Titling is difficult in PA- might be worth selling and using the money to purchase what you want.

Here in GA, all you need it a bill of sale :)

Wait till its dark... Hook it up to a borrowed tow truck.... And take off... Taking parts of the barn with you is optional...
    (please dont really do that)

Whis truck is it? Is it even for sale? Theres cars like that all around here with a "That was my grandpas truck and im gonna restore it one day"...

  19. I wouldn't touch it. One of the front tires is completely flat.

Need more information. Who owns it now? It presumably had a title at some point in the past - did the present owner have a title but just lost the paper, or did they get the truck from someone else without a title?

You MOPAR guys are really weird. I am not so sure that restoring it would make it look any better.

Need more info. Is it being offered for sale with no title? Did you already buy it with no title? Either way, it could turn into a hoop-jumping nightmare not for the faint at heart.

Gotta ask yourself if it's worth it. In Ohio you must eventually go before a judge. I can't imagine Pa. being a cakewalk in a similar case.

The long wooden thing in the picture is a sailboat presumably in case of a water landing, because the seat cushion has a hole in it! :)

You've heard the old saying "it's so ugly it's cute". That does not apply in this case!
