Ever wonder what your Dodge Pilot house would look like if you chopped and lowered it?

With the exception of this Canadian 57 Fargo pickup the images are Australian.

This is an open request to anyone. I recently purchased a 1957 Dodge COE and would like to convert it to a big back window (I have a line on 2 possible cabs w/big windows). My request is where to look for parts: exterior door handles, front & back (big) glass, trim, and possibly any sheet metal.

    Thanks, Bob

I need a windshield. How much did they charge? I assume that they shipped the windshield to you?

I personally have bought the rubber floor and big window rubber seal and both worked great. I have found the front Windshield can be found a couple different places. by the way nice Midyear-57 COE, and Its kind of obvious but your 57 running lights are the same ones used on CJ Jeeps they are very common and reproduced. I would suggest upgrading the whole light assembly to the CJ version it takes a light bulb that is still in production instead of the weird running light bulb that came factory in 57 and is impossible to find (common though someone has already done this conversion).

All parts that will fit 57 Dodge trucks------

Thanks...that's about what I was expecting to have to spend for a new one.

  16. I work in a body shop and our glass supplier can get the windshield and rubber for it no problem, my cost is less than $400

I just called Auto City Classics (800) 828-2212 for a 1957 Dodge COE (front windshield) and they have it in stock for $199 + $125 (S/H).

    Thanks, I like 'em low!

I do not, as when I started it a few years ago the HAMB wasn't so lenient about build threads. It's sitting on a non-traditional chassis so I never made a thread. I have the full build documented on the Eastwood blog in my signature and also post pics on mine and the Eastwood Instagram linked below. Other than the chassis it's pretty much all HAMB relevant!

Seams strange that your truck would not qualify because of a simple chassis swap, with a heap of modification......... That is weird, i have seen other guys post up the same thing with no worries. I will see if i can navigate my way through your build thread through the link you have then thanks mate.

Worked just fine, and what a great score for a truck. I am partial to that model myself.

I believe it to be a Fargo but if anyone has a keener eye than me please let me know. We got it off a farmer who bought it new, has 77 thousand on the clock and was parked in the shed in 93 and never moved since.
I also have a 52 Fargo 8ton truck cab in my yard, will find a pic later.
