If you want a chrome center strip on the grill, Northern Truck parts is now selling a stainless center piece that slides over the center bar. $110 US. Then you can chrome it to match.

i have checked there site but i dont see it listed nope all is in real time got even more stuff painted, but a few things need to be done again to get it perfect
I first saw the center strip listed on their ad in Hemmings. I talked to them on the phone about a week ago and verified they have them. Bothe the stock center piece and a stainless version. They are also reproducing the front window seals. Your truck is really coming together nicely. Yes, I am very jealous... FYI - If you don't already have them, Mike Woodard in Washington State, USA, makes the little gaskets that go under the parking light on the headlight stand. I think they are about $10 a pair.

I finally figured it out...the truck is actually completely done and you are disassembling it and posting the pictures in reverse.
dressed up the dash today and fastened the chrome grill and lock hinges and friday i made some brackets to install the trans cooler and steering pump cooler

Sander, congrats on your build. Build looks too fast of a buiild for some viewer's? I once was told by a 19yr old it is not how much time you spend in the garage but what you get done while in the garage! Just looking at your photo's has shown this 65 yr old how talanted you & dad are. Super build.
Beautiful dash, but aren't the 0-200 Speedo and 8K tach a bit over the top? LOLOL!!! Unless of course you haven't shown the JATO attachment planned....
thank you for the compliments, i work on it abouth 20 hours a week in evening hours and weekends. the speedo is in Kph and yes thats still on the high side
here another 2 hours of progress i have re-routed the trans cooler lines so it wont hit the cab and made 2 new lines of total 3 for steering and brake booster 1 pressure and 2 return lines
Wow what a great build, the pictures look amazing and I'm sure it looks 100 times better in person. I totally admire your attention to detail, please keep the updates coming
i have added a third line (pressure line) this one will go to the brake booster and got the wheels painted beige silver and new tires installed, still need to balance them, but the adaptors i have are to small to lock them up on the wheel balancer so i have to make one
When you remount the wheels, can you show us some pics on how you mounted the hubcabs on the wheels. Love that look!

i drilled hole's between the wheel bolts i had the luck there where already large hole's it the hub behind it then i modified the hubcaps removed a part of the rim on the inside and welded 4 mounting tabs to it the studs will go into the hole's and fastened with home made wing nuts at the back of the rim
